Multiple Sclerosis - Lower body on fire

Multiple Sclerosis - Lower Body Pain

I woke up this morning with the realty that ongoing pain is truly present in me always with one of the most intense pain time being in the morning with the location of pain in my hips, thighs, hamstrings, shins, and calves.  The MS has such a hold on me that it totally controls my body and my day.  Surrendering to however it presents itself each day is so tough.  Acceptance and surrender to the disease symptoms comes up against my passion to live life to the fullest. The routine question I ask myself each day is do I  dig my heels in deep and push?  Do  I force myself to pull up my boot straps and kick myself in gear?  OR    Do I surrender and remind myself that it is okay to let go and that I need to be gentle with myself, rest and do what I need to do to try to make the pain, fatigue and anxiety better.
